While Abbeyglen is completely in its own private grounds surrounded by trees and hills with spectacular views of the Twelve Bens Mountains as well as views of the sea, it is still only a 6 minutes walk from the castle to the bustling village of Clifden, where you can enjoy fantastic shopping, lively little pubs and meet friendly locals.
