Connemara Walks Worth Exploring
Hikes & Walks
From long hikes to easy strolls, look no further than the
Connemara National Park
which has the perfect hike up Diamond Hill. With a height of 442 metres, you will be sure to experience some of the most stunning views from the top. There are also some easy strolls along the trails within the park.
Another great walk is
the Alcock & Brown landing site
which is located in Derrygimlagh on the Ballyconneely road. The area is equipped with presentation-boards answering many questions regarding the highlights of the area. Alcock & Brown's first transatlantic flight was achieved in 1919 so you will be full of great knowledge by the end of your walk.
