3 Night New Year's Celebration at Abbeyglen Castle Hotel

December 30th

• A good day to arrive, to feel the New Year’s atmosphere building up in Clifden and Connemara.
• 3.00 – 4.00pm: Tea and homemade scones
• 6.00pm: Champagne with smoked salmon in Bar on arrival
• 7.00pm: Candlelight dinner with a gourmet menu which includes locally produced delights

New Year’s Eve

• 7.30 – 10.00am: Breakfast in the Restaurant
• 1.30pm: Three mile circular walk taking in Clifden Castle
• 3.00 – 4.00pm: Tea and homemade scones
• 7.15pm: Champagne reception
• 8.30pm: Gala Dinner (Black Tie Preferable)
• 10.30pm: Champagne bar opens – Don’t be disappointed, order your bubbly early!
• 11:00pm: The "Big Band Sound" Well known showband rock around the clock
• 12 midnight: Ring in the Year 2025 – “Start a New Life” Followed by: Sing Along – “Cock-A-Doodle and the Rogues”
• Most guest whom attend wear Black Tie

New Year's Day

• 7.30 – 12 Noon: Breakfast in the Restaurant
• 1.00pm: Treasure Hunt covering a very scenic route
• 3.00 – 4.00pm: Tea and homemade scones
• 6.00pm: Champagne Reception
• 7.00pm: Gourmet Dinner
• From 9:00pm: Musical Evening with talented entertainers and performers
• January 2nd 2024 – 7.30 – 10.00am: Farewell Breakfast in the Restaurant
